You'll have the opportunity to work in several areas of the DC such as order fill, replenishment, services, or fish warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include:Leading DC Operations Supervisors who manage teams of up to 30 associates in a behavior-based performance cultureTalent development through emphasized by everyday performance management tools, systems, and resourcesOversees daily planning, organizing and operations of a distribution centerBalances workloads as needed to achieve production and delivery goalsEffectively communicates daily goals, recognition, and areas of focusSkillful at leading teams in an ever-changing environmentCoaches and leads supervisor team to follow policies and safety standardsEffective talent management through interviewing and selecting talentEffectively communicates to senior leaders and across the businessUtilizes software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics and anticipate and solve opportunitiesWhat we're looking for:Passion for pets and people and the desire to grow a fulfilling career4-6 years of leadership experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Apply basic instructions and procedures and responds to standard requests which may be written, oral, by headset or walkie talkieAbility to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry and lift up to 50 poundsComfortable alternating between standing, sitting and or walking for an entire shift which is typically 10-12 hoursWilling and able to operate powered industrial and mechanical equipment including but not limited to reach truck, standups, dock stocker and pushcarts *proper training and safety standards are providedWork in various temperatures and noise levelsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quicklyWe are delighted you are interested in joining our pack and helping us in our commitment to doing Anything for Pets, and the people who love them.
